Question:

What is credit score monitoring?

Answer:

Credit score monitoring is a service offered by the credit bureaus and independent companies - any time a change occurs in your credit score, it will be reported to you. That means, any time payment is reported to the CRCs, if score is affected you will get notification.

Have in mind, this is a paid service. Even if there are companies offering to do it for free, there will be hidden charges; or for a grace period you will be able to access your score for free and then your credit card will have a regular monthly charge for credit score monitoring.

If you are trying to improve your credit score, credit score monitoring is helpful to observe your progress. Especially if you are using expensive credit repair services, you would like to follow their progress on the credit score repair process.
