Is there online licensing mortgage lender application?

Yes. Some states have developed an online mortgage lender licensing application and renewal system. You will only need to find whether your state has developed such a system so that licensee applicants could benefit with a distance lender state exam.

Normally, every mortgage lender application for license or renewal requires that the applicant already has a registered business name, and a surety bond. If you have residential lending permit to operate in another state, you may have to submit a copy of it to your local state authorities prior to taking the lender state exam. Also, surety bond amounts will vary by state.

If mortgage lender licensing application and renewal can't take place online in your state, you might at least get the preparation materials online.

Mortgage rates hit their lowest since 1955. Ask the home loan experts we recommend Quicken Loans how to take advantage of them.
